In 2023, Vodafone Qatar implemented 360Dialog Performance Messaging, Apps Category , to run a Click to WhatsApp campaign aimed at generating leads for its home internet product in the Qatar market. The deployment focused on marketing and lead acquisition workflows managed by Vodafone Qatar's consumer marketing and digital acquisition teams, with campaign configuration scoped to paid media driven entry points.
360Dialog Performance Messaging was configured to support Click to WhatsApp entry points, full funnel WhatsApp conversions tracking, automated lead capture workflows, and campaign measurement capabilities consistent with performance messaging platforms. The implementation included message template management and conversion event instrumentation to surface qualified leads into Vodafone Qatar's acquisition process and to track user interaction sequences from click through WhatsApp engagement to lead capture.
Operational coverage was limited to Qatar market activities for the home internet product and centered on marketing and acquisition functions, with campaign traffic originating from paid media channels. Data from WhatsApp interactions and conversion events was used to inform marketing campaign optimization and to route captured leads into existing lead qualification processes.
The Click to WhatsApp campaign produced about 5,000 new leads and Vodafone Qatar allocated ongoing media budget to Click to WhatsApp activity as a result. Governance emphasis was placed on conversion attribution and campaign measurement to sustain continued media investment and to operationalize WhatsApp as a lead acquisition channel.
