In 2017 Volkswagen Møller Bilfinans deployed Compello Process as its AP Automation platform. The implementation was applied inside a Norway based banking and financial services firm with roughly 80 employees and focused on operational workflows supporting customer service, contract creation and approval, and incoming invoice processing.
Compello Process was configured to centralize invoice intake, electronic approval routing, and payment processing orchestration, using standard AP Automation capabilities such as invoice capture, exception handling, and approval workflow configuration. The implementation supported tasks related to the creation and approval of new loan and leasing contracts and incorporated quality assurance steps for Excel based reports, aligning workflow rules to the companys existing operational practices in Operations and Finance.
Integrations were established with Compello Invoice and with CoreView and Excel based reporting workflows, enabling structured invoice data exchange and export for economic reporting and manual quality checks. Operational coverage emphasized the Operations team, which managed customer service via telephone and mail and executed assessment and payment of incoming invoices, while Finance consumed exported data for reporting and reconciliation.
Governance focused on embedding approval routing and QA checkpoints into day to day processes, with role based routing for contract approvals and invoice sign off.
