In 2017 Volkswagen Pon Financial Services implemented Sofico Miles Fleet to consolidate front, middle and back office processes for fleet and retail finance in the Netherlands. The deployment began with retail operations and then extended to fleet contract operations, establishing a single Fleet Management platform to centralize contract lifecycle and finance workflows. Sofico Miles Fleet was configured to handle core fleet management capabilities including contract administration, billing and invoicing, vehicle lifecycle tracking and fleet accounting, with automated authorization workflows and straight through processing orchestration. Configuration work focused on mapping existing contract templates and finance rules into Miles, and scaling the application to cover approximately 75,000 fleet contracts under a unified data model. Operational rollout was staged across finance and fleet functions in the Netherlands with centralized governance for role based authorizations and workflow orchestration to reduce manual handoffs. The implementation of Sofico Miles Fleet improved straight through processing, reduced authorization times and enhanced customer experience across the companys fleet portfolio, as observed across the deployed contract base.
