AMCS Group Legacy AMCS Trux Waste Management Waste and Recycling ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2016 2017
In 2016 Waste Connections Canada deployed AMCS Trux Waste Management in a Waste Management context to support its in-vehicle and tablet-based operational workflows across Canadian operations. The rollout was led by the Application Operation team based in Woodridge ON, which configured the AMCS Trux Waste Management application to manage In Vehicle Systems and maintenance tablet systems, authored end user and internal system documentation, and established requirements intake and usability validation processes. The implementation emphasized mobile device and fleet operational support, validating Android platforms from 6 to 11 and providing compatibility coverage for Panasonic Toughbook tablet platforms. Operational controls included mobile device management integration with SOTI and 42Gears, structured software testing and deployment of IVS platform upgrades and utility add-ons, and delivery of online training and functional test plans. The scope of work spanned solicitation of business requirements, process and gap analysis, design walkthroughs, functional test execution, and operational handover to operations and maintenance teams, with travel across Canada required to support regional rollouts and sustainment.
