| Zetes | Legacy | ZetesChronos | Transportation Management | SCM | n/a | 2022 | 2022 | In 2022, Wesseling Netherlands deployed ZetesChronos to replace fixed onboard computers with a mobile proof of delivery solution. ZetesChronos was implemented as a Transportation Management application to extend operational control of last mile delivery, traceability and driver workflows across Wesseling Logistics Benelux distribution and transport operations. The ZetesChronos implementation included managed mobile devices issued to drivers and configuration of proof of delivery workflows, barcode capture and timestamping to support traceability and delivery confirmation. ZetesChronos also centralized delivery execution features typical of Transportation Management, including task scheduling visibility for drivers and electronic proof of delivery capture. Integration work connected ZetesChronos with Wesseling's existing TMS to synchronize delivery orders, status updates and proof of delivery records in near real time. The deployment extended real time insight outside vehicles, enabling operations teams to view delivery progress and initiate proactive customer communications based on delivery events. Governance focused on operational rollout across Benelux sites and standardizing driver procedures on managed devices, with training oriented on device use and exception handling. The deployment improved last mile visibility, traceability and driver workflows, and enabled proactive customer communications as part of Wesseling Netherlands use of ZetesChronos in Transportation Management. |
