Slimstock Legacy Slimpay Direct Debit Payment Processing ERP n/a 2020 2020
In 2020, Wide Group Italy implemented Slimpay Direct Debit to provide automated SEPA Direct Debit and digital mandate signing for insurance premium collections. The deployment was organized as a Payment Processing capability to support recurring premium billing and to enable a new monthly installment product called Wideflix. Implementation centered on Slimpay Direct Debit functionality for electronic mandate capture and lifecycle management, automated SEPA Direct Debit execution, and installment billing orchestration for monthly premiums. Configuration emphasized mandate signing workflows and recurring payment schedules, combined with payment status handling to support insurer billing operations. Rollout occurred in November 2020 across Wide Group's broker network in Italy, and the solution was embedded into insurance premium collection and renewal workflows. Operational coverage included broker-mediated policy collections and policyholder renewal touchpoints, aligning Payment Processing with underwriting and billing functions. Governance changes formalized e-mandate verification and recurring collection schedules, shifting renewals toward digitally signed mandates. The implementation digitised mandate signing, simplified renewals for policyholders, improved collection reliability across the broker network, and enabled the Wideflix monthly installment offering.
