Adobe Systems Legacy Adobe Acrobat Sign (formerly EchoSign, eSign & Adobe Sign) Digital Signing Content Management n/a 2020 2020
In 2020 Wiley UK deployed Adobe Acrobat Sign, formerly EchoSign, eSign and Adobe Sign, to provide Digital Signing capabilities for web-based agreement capture. The implementation positions Adobe Acrobat Sign on Wiley's UK website to present browser-based signing workflows to external users and to capture consent and contractual acceptance for publishing and partner interactions. This configuration is oriented to customer-facing signature flows rather than bespoke on-premise signature appliances. The deployment leverages core Digital Signing modules such as agreement authoring and templating, browser signature capture, audit trail and event tracking, and centralized document retention using the application platform's native storage and compliance controls. Governance is organized around centralized template management and audit logging to support legal and compliance review of signed publishing agreements.

SAP Legacy SAP Commerce Cloud (ex Hybris) eCommerce eCommerce n/a 2016 2017
In 2016, Wiley UK implemented SAP Commerce Cloud (ex Hybris) to consolidate its eCommerce presence on eu.wiley.com and uk.wiley.com and to centralize online product and storefront management. The implementation targeted Wiley UK’s publishing commerce operations and was scoped to support product catalogs, digital storefronts, and customer account workflows for institutional and consumer buyers within the company’s UK and EU digital channels. SAP Commerce Cloud (ex Hybris) was deployed as a cloud-native omnichannel commerce architecture, combining storefront presentation, back-end commerce services, and API layers for third-party connectivity. Functional modules and capabilities implemented included product catalog management, pricing and promotions engine, checkout and payment orchestration, order management and fulfillment workflows, customer self-service and account management, and merchandising and search configuration. The implementation integrated explicit marketing and analytics technologies used by Wiley UK, including Eloqua for marketing automation and Revenue Performance Management, and Facebook Retargeting Pixel for retargeting. SAP Commerce Cloud provided the API and connector framework to surface catalog, pricing, and customer events to Eloqua and to emit tracking signals for Facebook Retargeting Pixel for marketing orchestration and audience activation. Operational governance was organized around centralized commerce operations and merchandising workflows to manage product information, promotional campaigns, and customer experience across the eCommerce platform. Rollout and ongoing operations focused on unifying storefront configuration, content governance, and commerce operations across the eu.wiley.com and uk.wiley.com channels, aligning marketing automation and retargeting processes with the core eCommerce platform.
