Tungsten Automation Legacy Tungsten AP Invoice Automation AP Automation ERP n/a 2009 2009
In 2009, WillBros implemented Tungsten AP Invoice Automation to address AP Automation needs across its Accounts Payable organization while supporting adjacent HR and Compliance functions. The rollout was executed alongside management of two other enterprise systems, iCims and Saba, with the program explicitly covering account provisioning and deprovisioning, user training, and site onboarding for new locations. The Tungsten AP Invoice Automation deployment emphasized invoice processing automation workflows and operational controls, including creation of new account setups, processing of account cancellations, client based training for end users, and testing of AP and HR systems at new site locations. Technical stewardship included performing installations, patches, and upgrades for Tungsten, with routine application maintenance and troubleshooting performed as part of operational support. The application estate was maintained on Windows Server2002 and Windows Server 2012R2 platforms with administrators performing updates on those Windows Server instances. The program also supported mobile device management by assisting with deployment and configuration of the company MDM provider MobileIron App on all mobile devices, enabling consistent access and administration across endpoints. Operational governance was formalized through standardized account lifecycle processes, a 24 hour support ticket turnaround expectation, and ongoing end user training across AP, HR and Compliance teams. Responsibilities included ongoing application maintenance, patch management, and first line troubleshooting for Tungsten AP Invoice Automation along with training and support activities for iCims and Saba.
