In 2012, Windlas Biotech implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV as its ERP Financial application to manage core accounting and month-end financial reporting at its Dehra Dun manufacturing operations. The Dynamics NAV deployment served as the system of record for transactional posting and month-end trial balance generation across the accounts function. The implementation leveraged General Ledger and financial reporting capabilities to produce the monthly trial balance analyses required for assessing the company financial position, and it used fixed assets management functionality to maintain the fixed assets register and calculate depreciation on a scheduled basis. Receivable and tax reconciliation workflows were configured to support reconciliation of 26 AS with book of accounts for TDS receivable and to reconcile service tax entries, with ledger scrutiny and reconciliations established as routine operational controls. Operational ownership was located in the Windlas Biotech Accounts team at Dehra Dun, which ensured timely data entry into Microsoft Dynamics NAV, coordinated fixed assets audit activity with external auditors D.P.N.C & co. New Delhi, and participated in IFC Audit processes to assure implementation of Internal Financial Reporting Controls and to govern month-end close and statutory reconciliation workflows.

In 2012, Windlas Biotech implemented Microsoft Dynamics NAV SCM as its enterprise supply chain backbone. Microsoft Dynamics NAV SCM was provisioned to centralize procurement, inventory transactions and material management under the Supply Chain Management category.
The deployment focused on classical ERP supply chain modules, explicitly the Purchase Module, Material Management and broader Supply Chain Management functionality. Implemented capabilities reflected in operational procedures include tender enquiry management, quotation comparison and approval workflows, purchase order creation with proper taxations, vendor master maintenance, goods receipt and inward stock posting, and management of raw material procurement including excipients, APIs, laboratory chemicals, reference standards, and filtration consumables.
Operational coverage centers on the purchasing function with cross functional coordination into user departments, stores or warehouse teams, quality stakeholders and supplier counterparts. Governance touches procurement approval hierarchies, comparative statement sign off by management, supplier selection and development, and formalization of annual maintenance contract work orders with confirmations from legal and site engineering resources.
Role level records show sustained operational use, with personnel noting hands on work on Microsoft ERP Navision 2016 from May 2014 onward, which aligns with ongoing administration of purchase lifecycle, supplier performance evaluation based on quality, delivery and price, and resolution workflows for supply, quality, service and invoicing issues within the Supply Chain Management implementation.
