In 2015 Windmoeller Germany implemented Diamant/4 to centralize financial accounting and group consolidation across multiple German sites, deploying the solution as its core ERP Financial system to unify ledger and reporting workflows. Windmoeller operates under the wineo brand and used Diamant/4 to create a single financial control plane for site-level bookkeeping and group-level consolidation.
The implementation configured Diamant/4 modules Finanzbuchhaltung, Konsolidierung and Rechnungseingangsmanagement to automate routine accounting tasks and consolidation processes. Diamant/4 was used to instrument the Mahnlauf process through automated dunning workflows and to centralize invoice receipt handling, reducing manual handoffs between accounts payable and the general ledger.
Operational coverage included centralized finance and accounts payable functions across the German sites, enabling consolidated reporting and group closing activities to run from the unified Diamant/4 environment. Integrations were implemented as intra-application automation between Finanzbuchhaltung, Konsolidierung and Rechnungseingangsmanagement to support end-to-end posting, invoice matching and consolidation postings without invoking external named systems.
Governance changes focused on process standardization and central control of the Mahnlauf and consolidation cadence, moving from decentralized site procedures to a governed group process within Diamant/4.
