ECi Software Solutions Legacy ECI E2 MFG Manufacturing ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2005 2005
In 2005, Wisconsin Metal Tech implemented ECI E2 MFG as its Manufacturing ERP to centralize shop-floor operations and core transactional data. The deployment targeted the companys single Richfield, Wisconsin facility and aligned with the scale of a 25-employee manufacturer. ECI E2 MFG was configured around Manufacturing ERP functional modules including shop-floor production control, routing and scheduling, inventory management, bills of materials and work order processing, with inferred use of basic financial modules such as accounts receivable and billing consistent with typical ERP deployments. The implementation emphasized transaction-level inventory control and shop-floor data capture to improve real-time visibility of order status and production operations. The 2005 deployment followed a small-scale on-premises client server architecture typical for the period, with local database hosting and workstation clients on the shop floor. Governance and process standardization centralized production scheduling, inventory replenishment and billing workflows under ECI E2 MFG, formalizing operational responsibilities across production, inventory, purchasing and finance at the Richfield site.
