| Libraesva | Legacy | Libraesva Email Security | Secure Email Gateways (SEGs) | CyberSecurity | n/a | 2023 | 2023 | In 2023, Witors Italy implemented Libraesva Email Security as a Secure Email Gateways (SEGs) solution to strengthen email defenses for the Italian confectioner operating in EMEA. The project was driven by IT and security priorities to protect mail delivery and corporate brand reputation across core business communications. The initial deployment centered on Secure Email Gateways (SEGs) capabilities such as advanced spam and malware filtering, policy based inbound and outbound controls, and quarantine workflows. Witors later extended the deployment with Libraesva Email Archiver to establish a tamper proof email archive and with LetsDMARC to improve DMARC alignment for legitimate mail delivery. Libraesva Email Security was configured to enforce authentication and policy checks at the gateway and to route compliant copies to the archiver for retention and discovery. Operational integration aligned gateway enforcement with the company mail flow and DNS authentication processes, with LetsDMARC handling DMARC reporting and alignment tasks. Responsibility for daily operations and incident handling resided with IT and security teams at Witors Italy, supporting corporate communications and compliance functions across the EMEA footprint. The implementation used standard mail routing and archiving pipelines to maintain delivery continuity while preserving forensic copies. Governance was updated to include gateway policy review cycles and archive retention controls, and workflows were created for email incident response and legal discovery routed through the Email Archiver. The deployment yielded a tamper proof email archive and improved DMARC alignment for legitimate mail delivery, addressing compliance needs and reducing risks to brand reputation as described. |
