Wix Technographics
Discover the latest software purchases and digital transformation initiatives being undertaken by Wix and its business and technology executives. Each quarter our research team identifies on-prem and cloud applications that are being used by the 5283 Wix employees from the public (Press Releases, Customer References, Testimonials, Case Studies and Success Stories) and proprietary sources.
During our research, we have identified that Wix has purchased the following applications: Invoiceasap for AP Automation in 2013, Oracle Cloud HCM for Core HR in 2019, Databricks MLflow for ML and Data Science Platforms in 2020 and the related IT decision-makers and key stakeholders.
Our database provides customer insight and contextual information on which enterprise applications and software systems Wix is running and its propensity to invest more and deepen its relationship with Invoiceasap , Oracle , Databricks or identify new suppliers as part of their overall Digital and IT transformation projects to stay competitive, fend off threats from disruptive forces, or comply with internal mandates to improve overall enterprise efficiency.
We have been analyzing Wix revenues, which have grown to $1.76 billion in 2024, plus its IT budget and roadmap, cloud software purchases, aggregating massive amounts of data points that form the basis of our forecast assumptions for Wix intention to invest in emerging technologies such as AI, Machine Learning, IoT, Blockchain, Autonomous Database or in cloud-based ERP, HCM, CRM, EPM, Procurement or Treasury applications.

In 2013, Wix made Invoiceasap available in its Business Apps marketplace, provisioning AP Automation capabilities to merchants worldwide. The Invoiceasap listing delivered mobile invoicing and payments to Wix merchants, explicitly supporting finance and accounts payable processes to speed up billing and collections.
Invoiceasap's invoicing and payments modules, including a QuickBooks sync, were exposed through the Wix app integration, enabling merchants to generate mobile invoices, accept payments, and synchronize transactions with accounting systems. Deployment leveraged the Wix Business Apps marketplace as the distribution and provisioning mechanism, providing global operational coverage for Wix merchants and embedding the Invoiceasap AP Automation integration into finance and AP workflows.

In 2020, Wix implemented Databricks MLflow within its ML and Data Science Platforms stack to centralize the machine learning lifecycle. The implementation targeted productionization and monitoring workflows across Wix data science and MLOps teams, with an emphasis on taking experiments from development to repeatable production runs.
The deployment integrated core MLflow components, including MLflow tracking for API and UI based experiment logging and visualization, MLflow projects to package reusable data science code, and MLflow models to standardize deployment artifacts for diverse serving targets. Wix also built an MLflow based Machine Learning CI system to orchestrate reusable and reproducible experiments, and a curated feature store to provide a discoverable single source of truth for features, enabling declarative feature generation and reuse.
Architecturally the solution was built on a mixture of managed services and open source tooling, explicitly incorporating AWS SageMaker for managed model hosting and Apache Spark for distributed data processing alongside Databricks MLflow. Model training, feature materialization, experiment tracking, and serving workflows were instrumented to flow through MLflow artifacts and the feature store, creating consistent artifacts for both batch and online inference paths.
Governance emphasized reproducibility and feature consistency, with process changes to enforce experiment tracking, CI driven model validation, and centralized feature definitions to reduce training and serving skew. The implementation addressed the operational challenge of moving experiments into production by standardizing packaging, tracking, and model artifact deployment, and by making feature reuse and experiment reproducibility explicit parts of the platform.
