In 2019, Women's Care implemented LogMeIn GoToConnect as its enterprise voice platform. The deployment positioned LogMeIn GoToConnect as a Collaboration application to centralize voice communications across the organization.
The implementation covered configuration of hosted voice functionality for 100+ sites and 1000+ handsets, including number porting, call routing, dial plans, and individual handset configuration. Functional capabilities implemented included hosted PBX provisioning, extension mapping, hunt group configuration, and centralized handset provisioning to support clinical and administrative communications. Configuration work emphasized per-site dial plan governance and handset level provisioning to ensure consistent call handling behavior.
The GoToConnect deployment was integrated with major network engineering changes, including replacement of Jacksonville, Tampa, and Orlando networks with a Fortinet stack, introduction of BGP routing, installation of new core switches, implementation of SSL VPN for remote access, and provisioning of private switched fiber between sites. Those network changes supported voice quality and secure connectivity for LogMeIn GoToConnect across a medical corporation operating in multiple states. Network level work also included cleanup of OSPF areas to stabilize routing for real time voice traffic.
Operational governance centered on centralized management and standardized rollout processes, combining network consolidation and voice provisioning activities. Rollout details included per-site configuration, number porting sequencing, and handset commissioning aligned to clinical and administrative schedules. The network consolidation and centralized management efforts were executed alongside the LogMeIn GoToConnect rollout to provide stable, managed voice services.
