Infor SunSystems was configured to handle core financial ledgers while the custom modules enforced process workflows and delivered operational reports.
The deployment architecture placed financial data on MySQL, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server instances that housed transactional and reporting data. As DBA and administrator the role covered schema management, backup and recovery, and maintaining data integrity between Infor SunSystems and the custom web applications. Integration work focused on database-level interfaces and transactional posting to ensure consistent financial records across the ERP Financial system and the supporting applications.
Operational governance combined ERP administration with application lifecycle management, with defined responsibilities for support, patching, and release of the web applications.
