Boomi Legacy Boomi AtomSphere API Management, iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) PaaS Osi Digital 2024 2024 In 2024, World Oil implemented Boomi AtomSphere to centralize integrations and workflow automation under the API Management,iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) category. The deployment was driven by corporate goals to improve environmental compliance, customer service, and operational analytics while reducing manual, paper-driven processes, and it was delivered with implementation services from Osi Digital. The implementation used Boomi AtomSphere runtime and Boomi Flow to create event-driven integrations and user-facing workflows. Boomi Flow was configured as a self-service portal for large customers to access service orders and regulatory manifests, while AtomSphere was engineered to orchestrate data flows, support automation of product delivery, and establish the foundation for automated billing. Explicit integrations implemented include Oracle NetSuite ERP, HubSpot CRM, Snowflake Cloud Data Platform, Tableau analytics, Microsoft Azure, PFT-Alexander measurement and control solutions, Okta single sign-on, Box, ADP payroll, and Mainsaver maintenance management. Operational coverage spans World Oil’s used oil collection and recycling business, customer-facing service locations across hundreds of sites, transportation partners, and back-office functions in finance, compliance, operations, and IT. Governance was tightened by creating a single source of data integrity across ERP and regulatory systems, automating regulatory reporting workflows, and delivering manifest and compliance documentation through the Boomi Flow portal. Process restructuring removed repetitive manual entry, converted paper-driven procedures into automated atomized integrations and workflows, and standardized data models feeding Snowflake for downstream analytics. Outcomes documented by World Oil and Boomi include elimination of hours of manual data work each month, real-time business insights delivered to Tableau dashboards, improved customer service transparency, automated tracking of fuel station performance and inventory, and automated customer regulatory file delivery via the portal. OSI Digital’s Boomi services accelerated development choices, including opting for Boomi Flow over a Python approach to leverage the existing Boomi ecosystem and reduce integration complexity.
