Quorum Business Solutions Legacy myQuorum Accounting Oil Gas and Chemicals ERP ERP Services and Operations n/a 2019 2019
In 2019, XcL Midstream implemented myQuorum Accounting as part of a broader deployment of Quorum Business Solutions' midstream suite, positioning myQuorum Accounting within an Oil Gas and Chemicals ERP footprint. The implementation targeted end to end financial and commercial workflows for XcL’s gathering, transportation, condensate stabilization, processing and water business, aligning accounting with operational measurement and scheduling functions. The deployment combined myQuorum Accounting with myQuorum TIPS for commercial invoicing and FLOWCAL for measurement, with configuration focused on automated contracts, invoicing, gas settlement and inventory management. myQuorum Accounting provided the core general ledger and accounts payable workflows, while myQuorum TIPS and FLOWCAL delivered trusted measurement data and transaction level nomination and billing feeds to the accounting engine. XcL’s implementation used Quorum’s cloud platform and Quorum professional services to deploy remotely, integrating accounting with measurement and scheduling processes that support delivery and interconnect points to up to eight interstate pipelines and two processing and fractionation facilities. Operational coverage included scheduling, accounting, planning, contracting, gas control and measurement, with centralized measurement data and an auditable trail from FLOWCAL feeding into settlement and accounting workflows. Governance and process changes emphasized automation and reduced manual handoffs, with centralized data used to streamline producer, marketer and scheduler interactions. Reported outcomes from the deployment included cutting invoice processing time in half and generating invoices five days sooner, elimination of many manual processes, ability to pass cost savings to customers and avoidance of upfront IT capital and server overhead through Quorum hosting.
