In 2011, Zamba Switzerland implemented SelectLine MDE as part of a Warehouse Management deployment across its Zurich production and logistics operations. The rollout covered eight licenses and targeted operational workflows for the company’s fresh-juice production and distribution activities.
SelectLine modules Auftrag, CRM, Fibu, and Lohn were deployed alongside SelectLine MDE to centralize order processing, customer relationship workflows, financial accounting, and payroll processing. SelectLine MDE was used to provide mobile warehouse task support, enabling mobile data entry and warehouse transaction capture that work in concert with Auftrag for order fulfillment and with Fibu and Lohn for financial and payroll transaction posting.
The program was executed in a stepwise implementation managed by Gadola Information Systems, with phased license activation and staged operational cutover across production and logistics departments in Zurich. Governance focused on aligning warehouse mobile processes with order-to-cash and payroll workflows, and the implementation was explicitly intended to improve order processing, finance, and payroll.
