In 2019, Zazzeri implemented Alexide SolidRules InCentro as a Product Lifecycle Management solution. The deployment, executed with Desys srl, migrated existing DB and metadata and unified PDM content with e-commerce and after-sales documentation to establish a centralized product data repository.
The implementation concentrated on core PDM capabilities including centralized document management, visual BOMs, and structured spare-parts documentation, aligning engineering and technical authoring with post-sale support workflows. Alexide SolidRules InCentro was configured to manage metadata, present visual BOMs and link engineering documents to spare-parts catalogs and after-sales documentation for downstream publishing.
Operational scope covered engineering and technical departments and spare-parts and after-sales processes in Italy, consolidating product metadata across those functions. Governance and rollout emphasized database and metadata migration plus content unification, and the project delivered improved document management, clearer visual BOMs and enhanced post-sale support as reported by the implementation partner.
