Implementation focused on using Hillstone CloudEdge modules for VPC and gateway protection and VPN termination, positioning the appliance at both perimeter and virtual network boundaries to enforce traffic inspection and tenant segmentation. Configuration leveraged application-aware firewalling, stateful session inspection, and VPN gateway capabilities consistent with Next Generation Firewall functionality. This setup supported multi-tenant isolation for government and agency workloads within the cloud topology. Operational coverage targeted community and provincial cloud zones, with enforcement points at public perimeter ingress and VPC gateway egress to protect agency tenant networks. Governance appears aligned to cloud tenancy boundaries, orchestrating firewall policy and VPN routing at the VPC level to isolate agency connectivity and control inter-tenant traffic flows.
