Akka Technologies Switzerland | Professional Services | 21080 | $1.8B | Belgium | GardaWorld | GardaWorld Crisis24 (ex WorldAware) | Incident Management | 2017 | n/a | In 2017, Akka Technologies Switzerland deployed GardaWorld Crisis24 (ex WorldAware) as an Incident Management application to support commercial support, logistics and administrative management for a workforce cohort of 150 personnel in Belgium. The implementation positioned GardaWorld Crisis24 as the operational hub for personnel mobilization planning and administrative HR workflows that support sales managers and field operations. Configuration centered on personnel master data and mobilization modules, with explicit use cases for establishing hiring and transfer proposals, preparing contracts, amendments and certificates, and tracking integration of new employees on rotation or resident contracts. Functional capabilities implemented include assignment scheduling and mobilization preparation, maintenance of personnel management databases, monitoring of medical visits, and management of mobility logistics such as visas, passports, mission letters, plane tickets and clockings. Operational integrations and data flows were defined around the maintenance and synchronization of Master File and POB personnel records alongside GardaWorld Crisis24, and the transmission of variable payroll elements such as absences, sick leave and leave to the payroll office. The scope of operational coverage included commercial and HR support, logistics coordination, payroll reporting, supplier invoice monitoring and occupational health follow up, reflecting cross functional use across HR, sales support and logistics teams. Governance and process workstreams documented during rollout included standardized procedures for mobilization monitoring, onboarding and continuity of administrative records, plus structured support for sales managers through advice, HR assistance and implementation of tools and procedures. The program emphasized centralized administrative control of mobilizations and supplier invoice follow up, with Crisis24 serving as the record system for personnel movements and related administrative artifacts. | |
