The deployment was anchored in the North America Total Rewards organization and supported a Manager, Compensation role based in Plainsboro, New Jersey, aligning compensation administration with the company workforce strategy. The PayScale MarketPay implementation covered standard compensation management modules, including market benchmarking and external market data analysis, job leveling and global job level assignment, annual market analysis to inform the annual compensation plan, salary budgeting and forecasting, and support for short-term, long-term, sales and executive incentive frameworks. The solution was used to evaluate new and revised jobs, assign job levels, and support pay equity assessments and compensation positioning across job families. Operationally the system was used by the Total Rewards CoE to provide guidance to HR business partners, Talent Acquisition, Global Rewards and Mobility, GBS teams, and line managers, enabling localized compensation strategies consistent with global policy. The implementation supported recurring annual compensation processes across the region and served as a data source for counsel on promotions, internal transfers and new hire offers while interfacing with external vendors and consultants involved in reward initiatives. Governance for the PayScale MarketPay deployment was exercised through the global Rewards Center of Excellence, which managed process definition, communications, localization and technology configuration for Compensation Management. The COE retained ownership of policy adherence related to fair and equitable pay positioning, and the platform was embedded into Total Rewards workflows to standardize assessments, reporting and decision support across the organization.
