Puma Retail 22214 $10.5B Germany Board International Board CPM EPM 2017 n/a In 2017 Puma implemented Board CPM as its enterprise performance management platform, selecting Board CPM to centralize planning and decision support within its finance function. The work emphasized the product category EPM, positioning the application as a unified decision making environment for planning, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting. The implementation emphasized rapid application development and high modeling fidelity, a capability proven during the proof of concept where Board CPM showed notable technological flexibility and an unrivaled level of detail and precision. Functional configuration focused on planning and budgeting modules, driver based forecasting, management reporting and consolidated financial views consistent with EPM practices, leveraging Board CPM for interactive dashboards and scenario modeling. Deployment architecture centered on a single Board CPM instance as the unified decision making layer, designed to consume and normalize transactional inputs from Puma operational sources and to publish controlled reports to finance and executive stakeholders. SDG consulting AG supported the engagement and delivered implementation expertise during the proof of concept and configuration phases, enabling accelerated model builds and iterative delivery of business rules and calculations. Governance workstreams established model version control, owner based workflows and periodic cadence for planning cycles to align finance and FP&A functions with Board CPM outputs. The proof of concept outcomes influenced rollout sequencing, with emphasis on expanding planning and reporting coverage while preserving the detailed data models and application flexibility demonstrated early in the engagement.
