Autosmart | Manufacturing | 350 | $43M | United Kingdom | IFS | IFS ERP | ERP Financial | 2022 |
In 2022, Autosmart began implementing IFS ERP as part of an ERP Financial program to consolidate core financial processes and reporting. The IFS ERP deployment was contracted to Anthesis, which was selected for its demonstrated expertise with IFS Applications and project delivery track record.
The implementation emphasizes ERP Financial capabilities, including core financials, general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and financial reporting, with configuration aligned to manufacturing finance workflows and United Kingdom statutory reporting. Configuration work is focused on mapping Autosmart requirements into IFS ERP functional modules and configuring transaction flows to support month end and statutory close processes.
Operational coverage for the program spans Autosmart finance and operations functions across its United Kingdom operations, with Anthesis supporting both implementation and the design of ongoing support arrangements. Integrations with other enterprise systems are being managed as part of the configuration scope to ensure transactional continuity between operational processes and financial ledgers.
Governance is centered on a client SI engagement model where Anthesis provides implementation leadership and ongoing support capabilities, and Autosmart IT leadership provides business requirements and acceptance oversight. Shaun Devey, IT Director of Autosmart, reported that Anthesis have demonstrated a professional approach and are a good fit for implementation and ongoing support, and the project is on target to deploy both on time and to budget.

Chemigraphic | Manufacturing | 137 | $27M | United Kingdom | IFS | IFS Cloud ERP | ERP Financial | 2018 |
In 2018, Chemigraphic implemented IFS Cloud ERP using IFS Applications 10 as an entirely cloud based deployment, positioning the project within the ERP Financial category. The implementation began in May 2018 and was executed primarily out of Chemigraphic’s Crawley site, covering approximately 75 system users across manufacturing and office operations. Anthesis acted as the implementation partner and led the project delivery from launch through testing and go live.
The IFS Cloud ERP deployment included core IFS modules for Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Projects, Financials, Warehousing, CRM, HR and Maintenance, with configuration and testing spanning both functional and technical consultancy. Chemigraphic adopted handheld devices for warehousing data capture in addition to office based IFS Applications 10 usage, reflecting mixed-device operational workflows and mobile inventory processes.
Architecturally the solution was completely hosted on Microsoft Azure, delivering a cloud only deployment model for IFS Applications 10. Anthesis resourced the rollout with a six consultant delivery team led by Mike Evans, while a Chemigraphic taskforce led by Technical Director Stewart Gadd and NPI and Sales Systems Manager Alex Cook provided internal governance and subject matter leadership.
Governance and rollout emphasized a joint project management model and iterative testing cycles to embed the application across business functions. Reported outcomes from Chemigraphic include improved operational efficiency, superior planning, better forecasting and enhanced capacity management as the business moved enterprise processes onto a single IFS Cloud ERP platform.

In 2018 Chemigraphic implemented IFS Cloud Supply Chain Management through a partner-led engagement with Anthesis. The project began in May 2018 and was delivered primarily out of Chemigraphic's Crawley site, with a six consultant Anthesis team led by Mike Evans and a Chemigraphic taskforce led by Technical Director Stewart Gadd and NPI and Sales Systems Manager Alex Cook. The deployment supported approximately 75 system users across office and warehouse roles.
IFS Cloud Supply Chain Management was configured to deliver core enterprise capabilities, with implemented modules including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Projects, Financials, Warehousing, CRM, HR and Maintenance. The implementation supported handheld device capture for warehousing operations and office-based enterprise workflows, and was structured to improve planning, forecasting and capacity management processes. Configuration work covered module setup, role-based access and functional testing across supply chain and manufacturing workflows.
The solution was deployed entirely on Microsoft Azure, making Chemigraphic one of the first UK companies to run IFS Applications 10 as a cloud-native implementation from scratch. Anthesis provided authorised functional and technical consultancy from the launch date of IFS Applications 10, delivering project management, system configuration and considerable testing. The architecture emphasized cloud hosting, mobile warehousing integration and centralized module orchestration.
Governance used a joint delivery model, with Anthesis managing project delivery and a specially selected Chemigraphic taskforce directing business requirements and user acceptance testing. Outcomes reported by Chemigraphic include improved operational efficiency, superior planning, better forecasting and enhanced capacity management. Anthesis described the engagement as the first Partner-led Applications 10 project for a UK company and positioned the implementation for continued embedding across Chemigraphic operations.
