In 2019 Rafesa Spain engaged Marques to implement Cegid Ekon ERP across production, supply-chain, sales, purchases, warehouses and economic and financial reporting. Rafesa Spain is a distribution company with 11 employees and the scope targeted core operational and finance workflows using the ERP Financial application.
The implementation configured Cegid Ekon ERP modules for production planning, inventory control and warehouse management, sales order processing, procurement and consolidated economic and financial reporting. Project workstreams included consultancy led configuration, business process alignment and end user training, with a prototype used to validate key workflows.
Deployment was executed in Spain under a multi month rollout model, with Marques performing implementation services and configuration work. The rollout focused on centralizing transactional processing for distribution and manufacturing operations and on validating operational workflows before full cutover.
The contract was signed in December and the prototype was validated by late summer, followed by transition to the live environment and training of operational and finance teams. Once live the Cegid Ekon ERP implementation delivered improved operational control and reporting according to project documentation.
