In 2017, Lionel Samson Sadleirs Group engaged PrimeQ to implement Oracle Transportation Management System as part of a fully integrated end-to-end Oracle Cloud solution. PrimeQ’s engagement covered configuration and deployment of Oracle Transportation Management System alongside Oracle Customer Experience CX, Oracle Enterprise Resource Planning ERP, Oracle Warehouse Management WMS and Oracle Cloud Business Intelligence, creating a unified Oracle Cloud application stack. Oracle Transportation Management System was implemented to serve core Transportation Management workflows, including shipment planning and execution, rate and contract management, freight cost settlement and visibility workflows consistent with transportation management operations.
The architecture was delivered on Oracle Cloud with the Oracle modules integrated to support operational handoffs between warehouse, transportation, finance and customer engagement functions. Integration workstreams explicitly included OTM links to ERP for financial settlement, OTM to WMS for warehouse to transportation orchestration, and OTM to CX and Cloud BI for customer visibility and reporting, reflecting an end-to-end supply chain and transportation footprint.
PrimeQ acted as the implementation partner executing configuration, integration and BI reporting workstreams with a planned go-live in May 2018. PrimeQ and LSSG positioned the rollout to streamline the customer experience and support rapid business growth, and PrimeQ stated the deployment would lower capital costs, shorten implementation timeframes and deliver greater delivery efficiencies, claiming Sadleirs would be the first Australian transportation company to run a fully integrated end-to-end Oracle Cloud solution.

PrimeQ is the selected implementation partner and will orchestrate integrations between Oracle CX Cloud and the Oracle ERP, WMS, OTM and BI modules to provide synchronized transactional, operational and analytical capabilities. The operational scope targets the group’s transportation and supply chain operations, including Sadleirs which employs 370 people and runs rail, road, sea and air freight, global forwarding and customs services, industrial packaging and warehousing, with rollout planned to support expansion in Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney.
Governance and rollout planning are partner-led, focusing on phased cutovers and process harmonization for sales, customer service and logistics teams across business units, with an expected go-live in May 2018.
