In 2018, Bell Food Group implemented SAP S/4 HANA as an upgrade from SAP ERP ECC 6.0 to modernize its ERP Financial landscape across manufacturing and distribution operations. The EDI and EAI work covered IDOC processing for invoices, SAP PO based interface orchestration, and Seeburger BIS6 system administration, with tasks such as encryption certificate management, enhanced documentation, and vendor relationship coordination for software providers.
Governance and operational change were driven by combined technical and business testing during the ECC6 to S/4 HANA upgrade, including validation of custom reports and end to end interface testing. The team analyzed EDI guidelines and worked directly with vendors to ensure correct pricing fields populated Invoice IDOCs, which resulted in explicit improvements to invoice processing for unpaid invoices and clarified responsibilities between procurement, accounts payable and integration operations.
