In 2017, 2C2P implemented Xero as its ERP Financial application to serve as the central system for preparing and analyzing financials, management and statutory reports for the CFO. The deployment emphasized group consolidation for multiple legal entities and ongoing maintenance of Xero as the primary accounting system across the regional finance organization.
Configuration centered on ledgers and intercompany accounting, reconciliation schedules, journal and payment voucher workflows, and audit schedule management. Functional capabilities implemented in Xero included accounts payable and receivable processes, bank reconciliations, non-trade invoice listings, GST/MES, withholding and corporate tax computation support, and monthly payroll processing for regional countries.
Operational coverage extended to regional finance operations and cross-functional coordination, with workflows to liaise and consolidate with other departments for variance analysis and budget tracking. The implementation supported centralized oversight of payments and bank reconciliation activities while enabling localized execution by regional accounting staff and country payroll handlers.
Governance behaviors and process restructuring were enforced through internal controls procedures and policy adherence, routine review of reconciliation and intercompany transaction schedules, and supervisory coaching. The program included supervision and review of a small team of accounting executives in regional areas, plus guidance and coaching to ensure work quality and compliance with current policies and procedures.
