In 2021, 6Connex implemented Paylocity HCM as its Core HR platform. The rollout centered on moving payroll and core employee records out of TriNet PEO into Paylocity HCM, and the implementation explicitly supported an organizational acquisition and integration activity in Poland while servicing a distributed remote workforce.
Paylocity HCM was configured to deliver core HR recordkeeping, payroll processing, benefits administration including benefits elections, and performance management workflows. Configuration work emphasized employee-facing processes such as benefits enrollment and payroll access, and system settings were aligned to support global HR management and employee relations processes described by the HR leader.
The implementation included operational integration with a new Centers of Excellence benefits broker, and procedural replacements of payroll functions previously administered through TriNet PEO. Operational coverage extended to headquarters in Denton, TX, the acquired Poland entity, and matrix organization reporting lines that required coordinated approvals and role based access controls in Paylocity HCM.
Governance changes accompanied the technical deployment, including new HR policies, a centralized employee handbook, and formalized performance and communication workflows reinforced by a Culture Team and a communication workshop. Explicit outcomes recorded by the HR director include an employee net promoter score increase from 35 to 41 and improved communication scores over a six month period.
