The engagement focused on operationalizing payables workflows within the AP Automation category and aligning treasury connectivity with enterprise ERP finance processes.
Configuration work included bank connectivity setup, RMA token exchange, ECHOS bank flows, account mapping, and statement processing to ensure accurate and complete financial data ingestion. The team gathered and validated requirements for SWIFT payment instructions across multiple jurisdictions and executed end-to-end payment scenario testing that covered SWIFT BIC codes, IBANs, Fedwire rails, and Sort Codes.
Integration engineering defined and validated GL, AP, and AR interfaces and performed integration testing to confirm accurate, complete data flows between FIS Quantum TMS and Oracle Fusion ERP. The implementation also designed, scheduled, and tested automated tasks for integrations with ECHOS, partner banks, Bloomberg, and Oracle Fusion ERP to orchestrate timely data transfers between treasury, payables, and receivables systems.
Program governance incorporated a cost-benefit analysis of connectivity models, comparing host-to-host, ECHOS, and partnering bank connections to recommend the most efficient connectivity pattern. Requirements-driven interface definitions and staged integration testing were used to restructure payment and reconciliation workflows across treasury, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger teams, with FIS Integrated Payables serving as the central AP Automation solution.

Operational coverage emphasized the coordination of shore-to-ship personnel workflows and centralized master data for crews.
Governance elements included standardized HR processes, centralized personnel master data stewardship, and audit-focused recordkeeping to support crewing and compliance activities. The rollout reinforced role-based workflows and built process controls for certification tracking and roster approvals within the Adonis Personnel Manager Workforce Management environment.

The deployment targeted onboard and shore operations, with program-level support centered in Manila and coverage for roughly 100 vessels in the company fleet.
Implementation work emphasized planned maintenance scheduling and equipment master data, using ABS NS Maintenance Manager and NS5 support processes to convert old planned maintenance records to the NSE format for newly acquired vessels. Teams created an Equipment Hierarchy according to Teekay Standard, performed fleet-wide data enhancement of NSE records, and configured Maintenance and Purchasing modules to reflect operational and procurement workflows.
Operational structure combined onboard instance administration with shore-based support, providing day-to-day PMS issue resolution for shipboard crews and centralized administration by shore maintenance teams. The NS5 System Support Specialist role provided continuous system support, including reporting unusual NSE behavior and serving as the primary contact for PMS issues across the vessel population.
Governance and process changes included formalized data-building standards for equipment hierarchy, NS5 training for shore employees covering Maintenance and Purchasing modules, and a structured onboarding program for new PMS engineers. These governance activities enforced consistent maintenance practices and maintained system integrity across fleet and shore functions.
