In 2007, AB Impianti implemented Lantek Integra as its Manufacturing ERP. The deployment centralized planning and production control for the company’s sheet metal operations, covering CNC cutting and bending, carpentry fabrication and welding, and both conventional and powder coating painting lines across three production departments. Lantek Integra was configured to manage manufacturing bill of materials MBOM authoring, routing and work order orchestration, production scheduling and shop floor control, and inventory and material requirement processes typical of a Manufacturing ERP. The implementation included support for nesting and CNC job preparation functions to align ERP work orders with machine-level programs used by CNC operators. Operational coverage encompassed production, engineering, planning, and shop floor teams, with role-based operational workflows established for plant management, shift supervisors and CNC operators across multi-shift operations. Process governance emphasized MBOM handoff between engineering and production, standardized work order lifecycle and production planning discipline consistent with Lean manufacturing practices adopted on site. The Lantek Integra deployment ran alongside CAD and CAM authoring tools used by staff, including AutoCAD and Lantek programming modules, and complemented MES-level labor time collection activities that supported production control. Lantek Integra served as the central Manufacturing ERP supporting AB Impianti production orchestration and shop-floor execution.
