In 2006, AB SA implemented QAD Adaptive ERP (ex MFG/PRO) as its Manufacturing ERP to operate the expanded logistics center in Wrocław. The first stage of the logistics center expansion cost several million zlotys and created 60,000 cubic meters of storage volume to hold inventory positioned to support rapid service for over 8,000 reseller customers.
The implementation uses the integrated management system MFG/PRO provided by the Polish branch of QAD, with QAD Adaptive ERP (ex MFG/PRO) delivering core Manufacturing ERP capabilities for warehouse management, inventory control, and order fulfillment. Configuration emphasizes location‑level inventory addressing, enabling each of more than 600,000 SKUs stored in the facility to have a unique storage address, a capability aligned with Manufacturing ERP functional patterns.
Operationally the system runs the modern distribution center in Wrocław and supports logistics, distribution, order management, and inventory functions for AB SA in Poland. The rollout is tied to the physical expansion program, the distribution center is operated by MFG/PRO, and the deployment scope focuses on centralized inventory control and rapid pick and retrieval workflows supported by location‑based addressing.

In 2016, AB SA implemented IBM Cognos Business Intelligence as part of a coordinated, group-level IT program to strengthen management reporting and operational control. The IBM Cognos Business Intelligence deployment, aligned with the Analytics and BI category, was delivered as the Business Intelligence module alongside a broader QAD ERP upgrade to provide a unified data foundation for management processes across the group.
The implementation emphasized controlling and reporting capabilities, including consolidated group reporting, budgeting support, interactive report analysis, and enhanced report quality for management decision making. IBM Cognos Business Intelligence was positioned as the primary tool for controlling program functions and for improving the speed and accuracy of decisions in key business areas.
Architecturally the Cognos module was integrated with existing IT platforms, including the updated QAD ERP, the warehouse information system WMS, peripheral applications that support management, and other proprietary systems, creating an aggregated data layer for reporting. The deployment served a cross-system orchestration role, enabling standardized data feeds from logistics and financial applications into the Analytics and BI environment for enterprise reporting.
Governance and process changes were scoped to standardize business processes, synchronize and monitor activities across departments and subsidiaries, and provide consolidated reporting for AB SA and its ATC Holding subsidiaries in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The project documentation highlights expected operational benefits such as improved data quality for management processes, tighter control of financial and logistics workflows, faster decision cycles and a potential reduction in administrative costs as a result of standardized reporting and control.
