In 2018, Abcc deployed GovCMS Content Management for its public website under the Web Content Management category. The implementation provisioned a centralized GovCMS platform instance to manage the abcc.gov.au public site, establishing a single content repository and templated front end for regulatory notices, guidance, and corporate information.
Configuration centered on standard Web Content Management capabilities including structured content types, media management, versioning and staged publishing, and editorial workflows with role based permissions for web administrators and the communications team. Search indexing, URL management, and responsive templates were configured to support public access and mobile delivery.
Operational scope focuses on the public facing website and the small internal web team within the agency, with governance instituted through defined content ownership, approval queues, and scheduled publish cycles. Ongoing maintenance is handled through the GovCMS administration console and established editorial processes to ensure compliance with government publishing standards.
