In 2018, Abiogen Pharma deployed IQVIA OCE Sales to provision Sales Automation capabilities for its Italian commercial organization and field force. The deployment centered on enabling virtual HCP interactions using IQVIA OCE Sales and the Remote Engagement module to support remote detailing and activity capture for sales and medical teams in Italy.
The implementation configured remote engagement workflows, call planning and CRM activity logging to match existing sales and CRM processes, with the remote solution brought online in about one week. Architecturally the rollout emphasized the Remote Engagement module as the operational layer for virtual calls, supporting rapid transition to remote engagement and high frequency call activity by field users.
Operational scope was focused on sales and CRM processes across Italy, with the remote detailing capability used daily by field teams to maintain business continuity during COVID-19. The program achieved rapid adoption, generating hundreds of remote calls per day and delivering improved field productivity as reported by the customer.
