In 2025 Standard Life Aberdeen deployed NICE Actimize X-Sight AML to strengthen its UK financial crime operations, implementing the X-Sight Suspicious Activity Monitoring SAM module and WL-X Watch List Screening as core components of its AML, Fraud and Compliance capability. The implementation is framed as an enterprise monitoring and screening initiative intended to centralize detection and case handling across the firm’s UK compliance remit.
The deployment centered on NICE Actimize X-Sight AML functionality for analytics-driven detection and structured case management. SAM was configured to deliver behavioral analytics, alert scoring and typology-based detection workflows, while WL-X Watch List Screening was provisioned to perform name and sanctions screening against dynamic watchlists. Case management and investigation workbench capabilities were emphasized to consolidate alerts, document investigator actions and support remediation workflows.
Operational integration focused on linking the X-Sight components to transaction monitoring feeds and customer reference data across Aberdeen’s UK business units, and on ingesting regulatory watchlists and sanctions sources for WL-X screening.
