In 2012, Abu Dhabi Investment Authority implemented Oracle Enterprise Asset Management. The deployment served as the central Enterprise Asset Management platform supporting IT, supply chain and facilities management functions and addressed performance measurement, analysis and reporting needs.
The implementation focused on enhancement of Oracle Enterprise Asset Management on R12, with configuration work to support maintenance workflows, asset registers and work order orchestration. The eAM implementation was extended with extensive automation and reporting, including automated and simplified management reports totaling more than 76, scheduled reports exceeding 180, balanced scorecards, forward plans and performance reports, and the design and development of smart dashboards and key performance indicators for supplier, procurement and facilities management services.
Integrations were a core element of the architecture, with Oracle eAM integrated to INV, HR, Quality, Procurement, Projects, Property Manager and EBS Finance modules to enable cross functional asset, inventory and financial controls. The EAM solution was also interfaced with computer aided facilities management systems, building management system and access control system and provisioned mobile solutions to support field operations and facilities technicians. The rollout included Procure to Pay for internal and external stakeholders to align procurement workflows to asset and maintenance processes.
Governance and operational ownership were centralized under a System Specialist responsible for management, control and enhancement of IT, supply chain and facilities management systems and aligning supporting functions. Operational governance emphasized scheduled reporting, KPI driven dashboards and integrated workflows across Procurement, Finance, Projects, Property and Facilities to sustain the Enterprise Asset Management program.

In 2019 Abu Dhabi Investment Authority implemented Palantir Foundry as a centralized data integration and analytics platform, classed under Analytics and BI, to support its Investment Operations Team and adjacent portfolio departments. The implementation served the Indexed Funds Department, External Europe Department and Core Portfolio Department, and was positioned to unify investment data for analytics, reporting and downstream visualization.
Palantir Foundry was deployed as a large scale data integration platform with end to end involvement in requirements, A&D, UAT and training. The implementation encompassed data ingestion, cleansing and testing workflows, coordinated development with coders and the data team, and delivery of analytics-ready datasets for visualization and model consumption. The team also leveraged Palantir alongside Power BI and MicroStrategy for visualization and used Qtest for testing orchestration.
Operationally the Foundry deployment connected with front office systems including Simcorp Dimension as part of the broader investment systems landscape, and provided day to day Level 1 support to portfolio managers on the trading floor. The scope of operational coverage was centered at ADIA headquarters in Abu Dhabi and focused on investment reporting, holdings analytics and risk related data pipelines.
Governance and process change were formalized through coordination between the IT Department and Investment Department, with explicit management of access controls and security for internal and external users. The implementation followed established business continuity practices, with the project lead coordinating BCM activities, defining recovery time objectives and participating in testing, while also delivering user training and operational handover.
