In 2010 ACC implemented SAP ERP ECC 6.0. The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 deployment addressed the companys ERP Financial requirements for core accounting, financial close, and procurement across the construction and real estate business.
From February 2015 to present the solution environment has standardized on ECC 6.0 EHP7, SAP NetWeaver 7.4 and SAP Solution Manager 7.1 running on Solaris 10 with Oracle 11.2. Implementation responsibilities documented for the Abu Dhabi site included performing the technical upgrade to ECC 6.0 EHP7 and SAP NetWeaver 7.4, sizing and designing the SAP landscape for Primary and disaster recovery sites, preparing technical and project plans for the entire upgrade, defining the approach for a homogenous migration, configuring Solution Manager 7.1 SP10, and executing systems copy to sandbox servers for cutover rehearsals.
The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 environment was configured to support typical ERP Financial modules and workflows such as general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset accounting, procurement integration, and project accounting commonly required by construction firms. Configuration and technical design emphasized financial master data, period close sequencing, and integration touch points between finance and procurement modules to support project centric accounting operations.
Governance centered on technical project planning, landscape sizing, and rehearsal driven change control, with explicit Primary and DR topology design and sandbox rehearsals to validate conversion and cutover procedures. Operational scope covered finance, procurement, and project controls at the Abu Dhabi operations, with Solution Manager used for change control, monitoring and technical documentation.

In 2011, ACC implemented IBM Maximo as its Enterprise Asset Management platform. The deployment targeted asset lifecycle and maintenance management across Arabian Construction Company operations in the United Arab Emirates, covering construction sites and real estate asset portfolios.
The IBM Maximo configuration emphasized core Enterprise Asset Management capabilities, including asset registry and hierarchy, work order management, preventive maintenance scheduling, inventory and spare parts management, procurement requisitioning, and mobile field operations. Configuration included customized data models and business rule configuration to support maintenance scheduling and asset condition tracking. The implementation reflected standard EAM workflows for work planning and execution.
Operational scope included maintenance, operations, project delivery, and supply chain functions across ACC sites in the United Arab Emirates, with role based access controls and centralized asset master data to unify field and office teams. Integrations were scoped to surface operational workflows and service requests across corporate operational teams without naming specific backend systems. The deployment supported field technician workflows and site level asset inspections.
Governance was established around asset data stewardship, standardized maintenance procedures, and change control for configuration updates, supported by on site Maximo expertise including a Senior Maximo Consultant at Arabian Construction Company location. Training and process documentation were part of the rollout to align maintenance operations with IBM Maximo driven workflows.
