In the fall of 2015, Acclaim Health deployed AlayaCare Procura as its Electronic Health Record to support Personal Support Worker operations. AlayaCare Procura was used to centralize clinical documentation workflows, enable mobile capture of visit notes and streamline back office billing and eligibility tasks within an Electronic Health Record framework.
Rollout was focused on the Personal Support Worker division and occurred across operational teams in the fall of 2015, aligning clinical and operational staff on a single Electronic Health Record platform. The project emphasized operational visibility of important care information and standardized documentation practices across in home care visits.
Acclaim reported that the AlayaCare home care software solution helped increase margins and improve outcomes while enhancing visibility into client care data. Governance activities included configuring clinical documentation standards and back office processes to support ongoing care management and billing workflows.
