The platform supported monthly bonus file uploads, manual input of approximately 200 employees timesheets for hours overtime bonus damage and mid cycle payments, manual calculation of PAYE PRSI and USC, payroll journals, and management reporting. The payroll environment integrated operationally with external agencies and providers through established interaction workflows, including Revenue communications, Dept of Social Protection, and pension providers, and by uploading files for EMTS and awaiting approvals. Operational ownership extended to producing and distributing detailed weekly reports to each business unit for approval prior to payroll close, processing mid cycle payments and adjustments after payroll close, and handling forms such as loan applications and salary certificates. Governance and process controls emphasized strict deadline adherence and authorization controls, ensuring employee changes were entered timely with proper approvals and tax details were kept current for each employee. The payroll team managed payroll and networks email accounts to respond to pay queries and maintained time and attendance checks to identify and correct errors, supporting business functions across payroll administration finance and HR while maintaining centralized control through Access PeopleXD Payroll.
