In 2016, ACTIAM implemented SimCorp Dimension, deploying the SimCorp Dimension risk module to centralize risk monitoring and reporting within its Portfolio and Investment Management environment. The engagement focused on embedding the full risk reporting process into SimCorp Dimension so the whole organization would operate from a single risk management application.
Zanders evaluated the suitability of the new risk module together with ACTIAM and SimCorp before starting the implementation, and Zanders then implemented the risk module inside the existing Dimension environment. Configuration work centered on risk reporting workflows and data consolidation within SimCorp Dimension, aligning the module to ACTIAMs monitoring requirements and the firmwide objective to standardize risk reporting processes.
Operational scope covered organization wide adoption with primary business functions impacted including risk management, compliance, and investment operations. The implementation narrative emphasizes governance through joint evaluation by ACTIAM, SimCorp, and Zanders prior to go live, and the explicit starting point to include the entire risk reporting process in the SimCorp Dimension platform.
