Billtrust Legacy Billtrust Cash Application AR Automation ERP Financial Management n/a 2018 2018 In 2018, Acushnet Titleist adopted Billtrust Cash Application for AR Automation as part of Finance (AR) modernization in the United States. The deployment centralized cash application and remittance workflows to streamline lockbox and portal payment processes and improve automated payment matching across receivables. Billtrust Cash Application was configured to automate invoice-based matching and electronic payment reconciliation, including automated remittance ingestion, rule-based matching and exception routing to AR work queues. Functional capabilities implemented focused on credit card and ACH reconciliation, automated cash posting, and centralized exception handling to reduce manual touchpoints in day-to-day receivables operations. Operational coverage was concentrated in Finance, specifically accounts receivable and collections teams in the United States, with process changes to exception workflows and AR work queue ownership to support automated matching. Governance established automated matching rules and exception thresholds to shift manual effort toward exceptions and investigational work rather than routine posting. After deployment Acushnet reported near perfect match rates, with credit cards at 100 percent and ACH at approximately 99.5 percent, and a reduction in manual processing estimated at 20 hours per day. Billtrust Cash Application consolidated payment matching and remittance processing within the AR Automation stack, embedding automated reconciliation and exception management into Acushnet Titleist's receivables operations.
