Cognizant Legacy Cognizant TriZetto QNXT Core Admin Processing System ERP Services and Operations n/a 2019 2020
In 2019 Advanced Health implemented Cognizant TriZetto QNXT as its Core Admin Processing System to centralize payer administration and claims adjudication workflows. The deployment focused on payer core administration capabilities, positioning Cognizant TriZetto QNXT for claims ingestion, adjudication logic, remittance distribution, and member entitlement controls across the payer organization. Cognizant TriZetto QNXT was configured to support electronic claim formats including ASCX12 837P and 837I for professional and institutional billing, and to produce standard EDI acknowledgements and remittances such as ASCX12 999, 277, and 835. Functional capabilities implemented included automated claims adjudication rules, coordination of benefits orchestration, appeals tracking, and exception handling for rejected and duplicate submissions, consistent with core claims processing and payer administration workflows. The implementation integrated with TriZetto Payer Solutions as the clearinghouse hub for provider electronic submissions, reflecting Advanced Health policy that providers transmit via clearinghouses rather than direct EDI. Explicit integration signals in the provider manual were preserved, including the use of payer IDs DOCSO for professional claims and UOCSO for institutional claims, and routed EDI acknowledgements and remittances back through partner clearinghouses to providers. Operational scope encompassed the Advanced Health Claims Department, provider billing channels, provider relations, and clinical review through the Appeals Committee and Chief Medical Officer for final determinations. Business functions impacted included claims processing, provider billing and resubmission workflows, coordination of benefits, and utilization management, with procedural controls documented such as timely filing windows, resubmission frequency codes, and requirements for medical records on corrected claims. Governance and workflow changes formalized appeals and expedited review processes, requiring appeal submissions within 45 days to the Appeals Committee for recommendation to the Chief Medical Officer, and providing an expedited hearing pathway with a two working day decision target in urgent clinical scenarios. Claims rejection handling was implemented as an operational rule set, treating 277 rejections as nonappealable notifications that require correction and resubmission through the established clearinghouse flows rather than appearing on an Explanation of Payment or 835 remittance.

Milliman Marc Legacy Milliman MedInsight Analytics and BI Analytics and BI n/a 2022 2022
In 2022, Advanced Health implemented Milliman MedInsight as its Analytics and BI platform. The Oregon-based payer partnered with Milliman MedInsight to integrate claims and multiple EHR feeds to support monthly population-health reporting and hybrid quality measurement. The deployment centered on the Milliman MedInsight product with the MedInsight VBC analytics module configured for value-based care analytics. The implementation included data ingestion and normalization pipelines to consolidate claims and EHR source feeds, measure calculation logic for hybrid quality measures, and scheduled monthly reporting pipelines for population segmentation and quality dashboards. Integrations explicitly connected Advanced Health's claims repositories and multiple EHR feeds into the MedInsight data layer, producing consolidated datasets for care management and quality teams. Operational coverage focused on monthly population-health reporting and state-level quality submission workflows, aligning Analytics and BI outputs to value-based care business functions. Governance and process changes established a monthly reporting cadence and submission workflows for hybrid quality measures to the state using Milliman MedInsight outputs. Milliman MedInsight helped Advanced Health qualify for 100% of available incentive funding in 2022.
