Deployment used on premise infrastructure managed by the company IT Specialist who configured and maintained LAN and VPN connectivity alongside the corporate DDI Inform ERP database. Functional ownership spanned Inside Sales, Purchasing, Warehouse and Shipping and IT, with the assistant buyer and inside sales roles operating branch level and single location procurement workflows. Purchasing controls including up to inventory point and days on hand methods were implemented as part of governance and process change, pricing and product description master data were maintained in the ERP, and CRM marketing activities were coordinated from ERP data. The implementation oversight and purchasing method changes helped decrease overall inventory and increase inventory turn.
