In 2015, AFG Group implemented Deltek Vision as its ERP Financial application. The deployment established Deltek Vision as the primary platform for financial management and project accounting across the 120-employee construction and real estate services firm.
The Deltek Vision implementation emphasized project accounting capabilities, accounts receivable and invoicing workflows, project expenditures tracking, general ledger posting, and internal financial reporting. Deltek Vision was configured to support billing and receivables management alongside project-level cost control, aligning system configuration with the firm s contract and project accounting needs.
Operational scope extended to nationwide project accounting oversight, coordinating reporting, invoicing, receivables management, and project expenditures for more than 100 contracts and projects. Business and project accounting functions were the primary business functions impacted, with accounting and project management teams using Deltek Vision for end-to-end project financial processes.
Governance and operational ownership were formalized through promoted roles, with Bradley Johnson overseeing business processes, internal controls, financial management systems and Deltek Vision database administration, and Neha Patel serving as Senior Project Accountant responsible for project reporting, invoicing, receivables, and project expenditure coordination. These role-level controls framed system administration, policy and procedure oversight, and operational workflows for ongoing project accounting governance.
