In 2014, AG-Chem implemented Oracle NetSuite ERP as its ERP Financial platform. The deployment placed Oracle NetSuite ERP at the center of AG-Chem finance operations to provide a single financial system for accounting and statutory reporting across the company.
The implementation concentrated on standard ERP Financial capabilities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed asset management and cash management, configured to support consolidated period close and financial reporting. Oracle NetSuite ERP was configured to automate core accounting workflows, enforce a standardized chart of accounts, and formalize period close procedures consistent with enterprise financial control practices.
Operational governance emphasized centralized finance controls, role based access controls, and standardized accounting processes to align bookkeeping and reporting across business units. Integrations were scoped to common enterprise touch points such as procurement, billing and payroll interfaces to maintain consistent financial master data and transaction flows between Oracle NetSuite ERP and operational systems.
