The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 deployment focused on Finance and Controlling FICO business solutions, with configuration and process implementation for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Cost Centre Accounting, Profit Centre Accounting, Asset Accounting, Financial Accounting, Profitability Analysis, Product Costing, Treasury and Cash Management, Banking and Credit Management. The program also developed centralised finance processes for a European Shared Service Centre and provided cross functional best practice recommendations for Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Procurement and Product Costing, together with Key Performance and Business Intelligence reporting for finance, manufacturing and logistics. Delivery architecture and lifecycle activities included project planning, structured gap analyses, systems development, data migration strategies, testing, training and the definition of standardized procedures. Delivery partners included global SAP consultancies Accenture and Lodestone Infosys for implementation services, with PWC Consulting engaged to deliver Governance Risk and Compliance SAP Security work. The SAP ERP ECC 6.0 environment was configured to support multi country and multi currency operational requirements and connect shared service finance processes with local site operations. Governance was conducted through regular presentations of detailed project plans and high level status reports to a Project Steering Committee including vice presidents, directors and managers. The program incorporated SOX compliance and segregation of duties system controls, and worked with stakeholders to embed GRC SAP Security controls into the SAP ERP ECC 6.0 deployment. Operational ownership and local finance point of contact roles were established across the European sites to support ongoing control and process adherence. The engagement delivered the successful rollout of SAP ERP ECC 6.0 for ERP Financial in the region and established centralized finance processing, BI reporting and governance frameworks for finance and controlling across Agco UK and its European sites.

The deployment operated alongside SuccessFactors modules for Performance, Goals, Learning, Recruiting & Careers, Succession, and Reporting, with the SAP SuccessFactors Compensation application configured to consume performance and goal outputs for eligibility and pay decisioning. Integrations and operational coverage included coordination with a Ceridian payroll migration to ensure there were no system implications for access or historical records in SuccessFactors, and delivery of recurring and ad hoc EMEA and global headcount reporting that was reconciled into Tableau. The implementation supported global HR operations, EMEA compensation and benefits teams, global mobility processes, AGCO University learning administration, and the roll out of new locations in the SuccessFactors tenant, maintaining data quality for up to 15,000 employee records. Governance and operational controls were established through managed permission modifications and reviews, creation and maintenance of work instructions, and a central Reporting and Compensation SME model that provided first point of contact support, training, and data upload file review. IT development and HR teams collaborated on escalation handling and system issue resolution, and the HR operations organization handled enrollment of M&A and hourly contract employees into SuccessFactors as part of the broader operational rollout. Explicit operational outcomes documented during the implementation included successful enrollment of M&A employees and hourly workers into SuccessFactors and assurance that the Ceridian payroll migration did not cause loss of access or loss of historical records in the SAP SuccessFactors Compensation environment. The system also provided sustained support for the annual performance appraisal and merit cycles during peak periods, including interim staffing support to the EMEA Compensation & Benefits team.
