| Workday | Legacy | Workday HCM | Core HR | HCM | n/a | 2008 | 2017 |
In 2008 AGF Investments implemented Workday HCM as its Core HR application. Workday HCM was used to centralize daily human resources administration and employee record management across AGF Investments and affiliated entities including AGF Trust Company and AGF Funds Inc., supporting an organization of approximately 800 employees and operations that included extensive hiring activity across Canada.
The Workday HCM deployment was applied to core HR functions and configuration for recruiting workflows, employee data maintenance, and compliance training tracking. Performance management activities continued to be supported by the Halogen system while Workday HCM handled routine HR transactions, and Workday HCM was used alongside Pay @ Work for everyday HR and payroll related tasks. Talent acquisition work included needs scoping and implementation efforts for the NJOYN recruitment system, and job pricing and compensation analysis used Wyfactor, Watson Wyatt’s compensation tool.
Operational governance and process changes were driven by HR-led programs executed in the Workday HCM environment, including delivery of a new orientation program, management of compliance credentials such as CSC and IFIC for sales staff, and formal employee relations processes including performance improvement plans and terminations. HR also led projects for employee engagement surveying, an emergency preparedness rollout, and a high-velocity hiring campaign that onboarded over 70 inside and outbound sales professionals in eight months, while eliminating external agency use by creating a pipeline of co op students for temporary bilingual and English only call center roles.

| MicroStrategy | Legacy | MicroStrategy ONE Analytics | Analytics and BI | Analytics and BI | n/a | 2014 | 2018 |
In 2014, AGF Investments implemented MicroStrategy ONE Analytics to centralize reporting and visualization workflows. AGF Investments used MicroStrategy ONE Analytics as its Analytics and BI platform to analyze and present data and reports for distribution and investment operations.
The implementation emphasized core Analytics and BI capabilities, including interactive dashboards, ad hoc querying, scheduled report distribution, and visual analytics. MicroStrategy ONE Analytics was configured with role based access controls, a catalog of published reports, and reusable metric definitions to drive consistency in reporting across teams.
Deployment coverage focused on US based corporate functions, supporting portfolio analysts, distribution teams, and finance with consolidated reporting and standardized analytic views. Data ingestion and consolidation into the MicroStrategy ONE Analytics reporting layer enabled centralized consumption of operational and performance data for cross functional analysis.
Governance centered on centralized report ownership, user provisioning, and version control for published content during phased rollout to analyst and management user cohorts. The implementation represents a classic enterprise BI pattern where MicroStrategy ONE Analytics provides a single platform for analysis, visualization, and scheduled reporting across the firm.
