In 2010, Agri-Linc implemented OGL prof.ITplus. The deployment provisioned core accounting, inventory control and order processing functionality under the ERP Financial category for the companys distribution operations, establishing a single instance to manage financial ledgers, supplier invoicing and stock valuation workflows.
Configuration focused on standard ERP Financial modules and workflows, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory management and order-to-cash orchestration, with configuration work to align chart of accounts, tax rules and costing methods to UK distribution requirements. The implementation included functional automation around order processing and inventory reservations to support e commerce and logistics fulfillment patterns.
During 2024 the companys Senior Full Stack Developer developed an integration between OGL prof.ITplus and Agri Lincs web systems, enabling real time synchronization of inventory, product data and order processing. That integration used RESTful APIs and web service patterns and interfaced with the ecommerce stack, Adobe Commerce Cloud Magento 2, as well as platform components used by the development team including GraphQL, MySQL, Redis and RabbitMQ, and containerization and cloud infrastructure elements such as Docker and AWS for deployment and orchestration.
Operational ownership remained internal, with the developer responsible for ongoing customization, bug fixing and maintenance across ERP and storefront systems, supporting E Commerce and Logistics business functions. Web side work delivered measurable platform outcomes documented by the team, including a 37 percent plus improvement in front store performance and Core Web Vitals raised to 80 plus, a 20 percent increase in user engagement and a 15 percent increase in feature adoption, alongside security hardening through patches, monthly scans, content security policy enforcement and dependency updates.
