In 2009, Agro Harapan Lestari Goodhope implemented Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Project Manufacturing as a targeted Manufacturing Execution System to standardize production control across its palm oil plantation processing, edible oils refining, and specialty fats manufacturing operations. The deployment of Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Project Manufacturing addressed project-oriented production flows and grower-to-plant traceability requirements within Goodhope Asia Holdings manufacturing sites. The implementation was positioned to operate at the plant and project manufacturing layers of the enterprise application stack.
Configuration work included JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Grower modules and manufacturing modules tailored for project manufacturing use cases, with category-aligned capabilities such as production scheduling, work order execution, shop floor control, batch and lot traceability, and materials issue and consumption controls. The Oracle JD Edwards EnterpriseOne Project Manufacturing application was configured to enforce routing, operations sequencing, and production transaction capture consistent with a Manufacturing Execution System, and to support project-level costing and reporting workflows typical of capital and process manufacturing projects.
The implementation was integrated with Oracle E Business Suite Financials and Hyperion as part of the broader solution footprint, enabling manufacturing transaction flows to feed financial ledgers and planning systems. Operational scope covered manufacturing and operations business functions across plantation processing and refining units, and governance focused on standardizing shop floor workflows, project manufacturing controls, and staged rollout by business function and plant. Process governance emphasized consistent execution of production transactions and alignment of manufacturing records with financial and planning systems.
