In 2020, AH Industries implemented Odoo Manufacturing as part of a consolidated Odoo suite to address its multi-company and international operations. The project targeted Manufacturing ERP requirements across four locations in two countries, consolidating business processes for production planning, shop floor control, procurement and financials into a single platform. The implementation included core modules Manufacturing, Sales, Purchase, Inventory and Accounting, deployed on Odoo.sh and provisioned for approximately 325 Odoo users. Configuration emphasized standard Odoo functionality with limited customization, complemented by a specific enhancement to give manufacturing orders increased flexibility to shift and split operations when disruptions occur, aligning shop floor workflows with the companys bespoke machining and assembly processes. AH Industries consolidated three different versions of Microsoft Navision into one multi-company Odoo environment, supporting multi-language and multi-currency operations for an estimated 8 to 9 legal entities. The implementation was delivered in collaboration with OBS Solutions, and an internal project group of three people managed supply chain, accounting and IT technical setup, reflecting a tight governance model during deployment. Governance and rollout focused on rapid adoption and minimal programming to preserve future updateability, enabling a go live within 3 to 4 months through close partner collaboration and high internal responsiveness. Post go live, AH Industries reported that Odoo Manufacturing and the broader Odoo suite provided browser based, mobile capable access that improved operational flexibility and day to day corrective action, while keeping the solution predominantly standard to simplify ongoing maintenance.
